We had the pleasure of choosing the Compass Point Wedding Venue for our nuptials this past weekend. Erin and her staff were the most accommodating and professional wedding event planners and wait staff that we could have possibly dreamed of. From the first day there until till the day we packed up to leave, they were always joyful and accommodating to our every wish and dreams.  

The venue is without out a doubt one of the most romantic that we could have found in New Orleans.   From the wonderful cottages, that we rented out for the bridal party, to the grounds that the wedding took place on, it was a scene out of a movie.

The guests all thought it was a perfect setting and were amazed the ambiance that the grounds emitted.

Erin made sure that the bride and groom was pampered and our glasses were never empty. They sought out our every wish and sometimes exceeded them with their timely presence. They ensured that we came first in all things and our wishes were granted.

The food was OFF THE HOOK. From the selection of the menu to the delivering of the dishes, it was carried out in the professional manner that says it all for this fantastic manor. All of the guests ranted and raved about how good the menu was, especially the debris gravy over creamed grits. I thought it was mashed potatoes…they were that smooth.  

If you are looking for a venue that has intimacy, romantic setting, fantastic food choices, and an old world flair with a fantastic team of planners & staff, you have to put this one at the top of your list.
